Tina is a Ghost writer. While she may at times write about haunted houses, that's not really what Ghost Writers do. From what I have learned, a Ghost Writer is someone who "helps" someone else write their book or article. Say you're a very busy successful person who would like to write a book. Great, right? Oh, wow, you can't really just walk away from your business for the next 3 months while you write your book. Plus, you're probably not very good at writing, are you? Well, say hello to Tina, your awesome new Ghost Writer! She will write your book for you, and it will be as if you wrote it yourself, in your "voice". How cool is that?

Ok, that's about all I know about this, go talk to Tina. But don't take up too much of her time, she's going to be writing my new book pretty soon, ok? Really!

Seattle-HotShotz.com - New Website!

For anyone who has been paying any attention to what's up with me (Is there anyone?) Since moving from Wenatchee to Seattle, I've not had my main website up. In Wenatchee I was hosting my website on one of my own computers, on a DSL connection. Since moving was expensive, we haven't hooked up any kind of broad band connection yet, so there's been no real web presence, except for my free page on GooglePages.

Well as of today, 12 October, 2006, that has finally changed. I decided to get serious and actually pay to host a real website. So now I don't have to leave computers running just to have a website anymore! Hopefully everything stays working now!

Anyway, the website URL is in the title of this post. I was actually amazed, I started typing in some variations of that title, and almost all of the ones I could think of WERE available. I would have thought someone would have scooped up a cool name like this, especially in Seattle :)

Ok, at the moment there is nothing there, yet. I'll get that taken care of as soon as I can, probably in the next week or so. I probably won't be putting everything up that was on the old website, but I might put up some of the recent jobs, etc.

Taking a Break, and Moving Too!

I posted details on my GooglePages page... on Google. Anyway, I'll be moving to Seattle sometime in August. I'm also taking a break from doing Video and Photo jobs. The reason is that most of my gear is worn out, and I never put the money back into the business that I should have. So my plan is to finish up the jobs that I have booked, and then I'll be going in search of my fortune. Officially I plan to come back richer and wiser, and then I'll probably put all that money back into new camera gear. So think of this as a break... a sabatical if you will. I'm keeping my email address, but it looks like my main website at www.ncwvideo.com will probably not stay online once I move. Well, that's not exactly correct. I'm going to point that DNS at a free website, so people don't get lost. Anyway, email me if you have any questions!

Survivors Stories Documentary Released!

Wow, what happened to the last few months? This year has just been crazy!

I'm going to keep this post really short, as I have to make a big announcement... drum roll please....
Survivors Stories, the independant documentary I did last year, with the survivors of Hurricane Katrina and Rita, is now (finally!) finished and available!

I'm selling it through FilmBaby.com (I linked it above) . Its only $17.95, so feel free to buy a few copies :) Just click on the title of this entry to direct to the page on FilmBaby.com.

I'll probably also be selling it direct from my website in the future, but for now I'm kind of experimenting with the FilmBaby.com set up to see how that works.

If you're curious, or if you have a project that you'll be selling, feel free to contact me for details. I thought it was a pretty simple pain free process, and so far they've been pretty quick. I only mailed them the DVDs a week ago, and they already have them available, they put up the webpage (I wrote the copy), and they made a trailer from the video I sent.
