Updates on the Documentary

I've had some people email me recently asking how the editing is going, so I thought I'd do a quick post here, just to keep everyone updated

I have finished the first cut on the interviews, think I'm around 2 hours or so run time now. I'm thinking I'd like to make a 2 hour DVD available, and then also will be editing to fit into a 1 and 2 hour time slot for TV distribution. Until now I've not spent any time even really thinking about distribution, since its hard to sell something that doesn't exist yet! Well, not its closer, so that's cool.

I had to go back and come up with some facts and figures, and here is what I have so far:
I drove a total of 6502 miles, from home back to home.
I burned about 360 gallons of gas. (I'm pretty sure I am missing one gas receipt...)
I was in 19 States all together:
Washington
Idaho
Montana
Wyoming
South Dakota
Iowa
Nebraska
Kansas
Missouri
Arkansas
Tennessee
Mississippi
Louisiana
Oklahoma
Texas
New Mexico
Colorado
Utah
Oregon

Not too bad for a Canadian eh?
(I went back and counted, and realized I had missed Kansas on the first count, so I added it March 2006)
